Twas the night before Christmas, when in my crazy kitchen, the creatures were stirring and I was about to start bitching! The stocking were hung just yesterday, I can’t believe how time got away!
The child’s not nestled all snug in her bed, the dog peed on it, I’m doing laundry instead. I don’t wear a kerchief, and he doesn’t wear a cap, and I’ve got nothing on a long winter’s nap.
Cooking and cleaning I’ve still yet to do, clean floors and mirrors, do dishes too! Pumpkin soup to start, stuffed mushrooms to make, I’ve probably not got time to do a cake. Presents in the morning, dinner at night, let’s see if I could go a day without wanting to start a fight. I love my husband, daughter, and puppy, they are just the reason for the name of this page!
I hope you enjoyed this little poem, Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
