- 8 ounces smoked bacon
- ⅓ cup pumpkin puree
- 3 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
- ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (or more if desired)
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking pan with aluminium foil.
In a small bowl combine the pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, and ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice. Taste and add more pumpkin pie spice if desired. Lay the bacon out on the baking pan without overlapping. Use a basting brush to evenly brush the tops of the bacon with the pumpkin puree mixture. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
Turn the bacon, and brush the tops with the remainder of the pumpkin puree mixture. Return to the oven for 8-10 minutes, or to desired crispness. Drain on paper towels before serving.
